Terms of the Site

These terms apply to anyone reading Some Distant Galaxy. Carrying on past this paragraph counts as agreeing to them. They are written in plain language because we would rather you actually read them.

1. Adults only

The site discusses gambling and is meant for readers aged 18 or older, or the higher legal age where you live. If you are younger, please close this page.

2. Information, not advice

Our articles describe how games, bonuses and betting markets generally work. They are not financial, legal or personal advice. Rules, prices and features differ between operators and change over time, so always read the terms of any site you use. Examples in our articles use invented numbers purely to explain an idea.

3. No promises about outcomes

Nothing on this site increases your chances of winning. Casino games and betting markets are designed so that the operator comes out ahead over time. Any decision to gamble, and any money spent, is your own responsibility.

4. Local laws

Gambling is regulated differently around the world and is prohibited in some places. It is your responsibility to know and follow the rules that apply where you live before visiting any gambling site. Some Distant Galaxy does not operate games, take bets or hold player funds.

5. Links

A number of our articles link out to other websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, offers or practices. A link is not a guarantee that a site is licensed or available to you.

6. Accuracy

We work hard to keep articles correct, and we explain how on How We Check Our Work. Even so, mistakes can slip through and information can date. If you notice an error, please tell us through the contact page.

7. Our content

The text, layout and graphics on this site belong to Some Distant Galaxy unless stated otherwise. You are welcome to share links and quote short passages with a credit. Please do not copy whole articles or republish them elsewhere without permission.

8. Availability

We may update, move or remove pages at any time and cannot promise that the site will always be online or free of technical faults.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated now and then. Whatever appears on this page when you read it is the version in force, and our most recent review of it took place in October 2026.
